You can book tickets, check availability, see fares & schedules of trains, search trains between 2 stations, see list of trains & stations, train running status & access your tickets in Railway Reservation system.   Q2. How can I reserve seats in Railway Reservation System? You can reserve seats in Railway Reservation System by entering your requirements in the Booking page & uploading id proofs & making payment.   Q3. How can I search availability & see schedules & fares in the railway reservation system? You can search availability by first selecting a train. For this, you have to first go to the Browse trains between 2 stations or All trains page. Then fill in the date, class & stations details. The schedule & fare information will also be available in between.   Q4. What are the types of trains & classes available in RRS? The types of trains are Rajdhani, Shatabdi & Express & the types of classes are only I in Rajdhani & Shatabdi & I, II & III in Express.   Q5. What are the legal bindings in journey through RRS? The legal bindings in journey through RRS are given in the Terms & Conditions page.   Q6. Is there provision for cancelation after reservation? No there is no provision for cancelation after reservation. Ticket once booked can't be canceled.   Q7. How can I access my ticket? Your ticket is available in your account. It is also mailed to you. You can save it & print it from there.   Q8. Can someone else access my ticket & fake journey in my place? No, your ticket is password protected & the id proofs you submit at the time of your reservation will be verified while journey, so there is not room for fraud.   Q9. What are the types of id proofs that can be provided for booking? 6 types of id proofs can be provided - Aadhar card, PAN card, Passport, Driving Lisense, Voter I Card & Ration card.   Q10. What if I lose my password? How can I retrieve it? You can recover your password by requesting for it to be mailed to you at your registered email id. It will be mailed to you there.
