Fav cars
Fondness of cars is also very common, & with classy designed & highly engineered models being there, luxury sedans are everyone's fantasy. I have 8 cars, 1 of which I have purchased on my own, 6 I have got in MOTS & 1 I have received from Dad. All except the received one are sedans & the other is Maruti 800. All are top beauties & hottest selling & have the best of technologies & service. My primary car is the Skoda, which I have purchased on my own & I drive it only mostly & it has been running efficiently since 15 years. I learnt driving & acquired driving lisense at the age of 18 & I used to drive Dad's car since then & I have a bike also which also I learnt riding after school. All these vehicles I have used satisfactorily through the years & the fact of getting 6 of these in MOTS adds to my pride.
Skoda |
Skoda was the 1st car I purchased for myself. It happened in May 2003. After I returned home from WC 2003, I thought I should give something cherishable to Mom-Dad, I had to purchase a luxury car for myself also, this only struck to me that I should purchase a car each for all 3 of us, with the one being Mercedes for Dad & BMW for Mom. Blue is my favourite colour for cars & I picked a steel blue Skoda. I had collected 3-4 crore Rs. in the 3 years of my international career & this was a justified expenditure. This Skoda was also a sleek design like Audi. I gave surprise to Mom-Dad bringing home all the 3 cars suddenly. They were overjumped & took a test drive immediately at the time. I had purchased 4 cars now. |

Mercedes Bens S-Class |
S-Class was a very favourite car as it was the 1st car I had purchased for dad. It happened in 2003 when I was in the 4th year of my career. I used to drive 800 till then. I presented it to Mom-Dad as my gift of my WC success to them on the occasion of their marriage anniversary that year. |

BMW |
BMW I dreamt of winning ever since Sachin's Sharjah in 1998. Sachin was the only player to have won 2 MOTS cars till late & he topscored in 3 WCs. Although Astra got discontinued in India, but I drove my piece for long. A long cherished dream sown in the growing years. |

Audi 8E-Tron |
My choice of luxury cars earlier used to remain limited to traditional sedans like Merc & BMW. I discovered my first beauty of extra-premier section in Audi. I was sampled an Audi when I endorsed Audi 8E-Tron. It opened my eyes that there are beauties beyond the conventional range also. This was a surreal model with all qualities of a super car & look beyond imagination. My piece was black & I savour it most in my MOTS cars. |

Porsche Carrera |
I amn't very fond of sports look cars like Limousine, Land Rover & Rolce Royce & Audi & Porsche. But this design of Porsche was cool & I had got it in Mots, Micromax Cup, 2010. I had topscored in both the legs of that Sri Lanka tour & we had outperformed New Zealand & Sri Lanka in that tri series. Porsche Carrera 911 was presented to me in that MotS & we had progressed another step forward towards the strong preparations of W.C. 2011 with that season winning all the Videocon tri series, Micromax Cup & Asia Cup. I had 4 MotS cars now & my momentum despite 10 years in international Cricket was going good. We were playing all round Cricket now & not batting focused one. My mates were in awe of me with these prizes & I had to acquire another park in the community parking in our area. All the cars I have got in MotS were great & I thank Shiva for blessing me with so much merit that I have been able to win so many of these. |

Maruti Baleno |
Baleno is my fav car from the Maruti range. It is comfirtable like any other sedan, yet economical, just like Ciaz & Esteem. It is Maruti's reply to premium sedans. Baleno costs Rs. 8 lakhs, but its comfirt makes it feel like Rs. 15 lakhs. I am a promoter of Maruti hence I endorse Baleno to the middle class. My advocacy to the working group. |

Opel Corsa |
Opel was high on my watchlist ever since I saw Sachin win it in MOTS in 1998. I desired to purchase it when I had money, but Opel provided me another model Corsa in my own MOTS in 2004. I cherished it equal to that. I felt I have achieved equal to him. It was my second MOTS car & I had earned it after hitting three match-winning knocks. |
