Governing body
The governing body, as has been stated earlier, was first formed in 2005. It was elected after the constitution of the RWA in its first year. The body, since, has been elected every year with a 5 member board, comprising 1 President, 1 Secretary, 1 Treasurer & 2 general members. The election is conducted in April with the voting of all 820 members polled in the AGM. The governing body members aren't allowed a term of more than one year & they have wholely been a set of righteous administrators. The body sits every month for a GBM & all the complaints / grievances of the residents are heard / remedified here. The meeting can be called any time although, if required. The AGM is followed by a community party which features on 6 occasions through the year - The New year, Diwali, Holi, Republic Day, Independence Day & AGM. The body members hold the power to operate the economic table of the society, & the decisions all are taken after conferences with the GBM.
In all, the governing body has been an able & competent authority, & we are proud to have such qualified personnel on our panel.
